1881 Courthouse Museum Storytime

Meet at the library to walk over, or join us at the museum for a special story time celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States! For ages 0–5, but all kids are welcome.

Upcycle Dino Build Competition
July 11th | 11 am
This is your chance to go big. Bring your team and your recyclables and take on the challenge of building a dinosaur entirely from repurposed materials. The library will have supplies on hand, but your creativity is what counts. Registration required. All ages.

Dinosaur STEM Eggs
July 6th | 4 pm
Put your excavation skills to the test as you carefully dig into dino eggs and uncover what’s inside. Experiment with different tools and techniques while learning how real fossil discoveries are made. Ages 6–11.

Teen Tuesday
July 7th | 2 pm

Art Journaling
July 8th | 5 pm
Experiment with mixed media journaling using weekly prompts to guide your creativity. Each session builds on your work, but you’re welcome to join at any point and jump in. For adults and older teens.
